Background

Carpe Diem Kombucha, with the Classic, Quince and Cranberry flavours now on sale in shops, is a sensual, non-alcoholic drink that is characterised by its special production: a process of double fermentation and the selection of natural ingredients only.

The Carpe Diem Lunch was organised with star chef, Cornelia Poletto, and renowned German celebrities at Hamburg's Elb Palais in June 2011 in order to draw attention to this drink's outstanding characteristics. A touch of cranberry and quince was in the air as Germany's most popular female chef created a light summer brunch for around 70 guests in the winter gardens of the Elb Palais. The guests included such celebrities as Katja Flint, Patrick Nuo, Sarah Kuttner, Kai Schumann, Claudine Wilde, Gesine Cukrowski, Heio von Stetten, Shermine Shahrivar, Ralph Herforth, Dennenesch Zoudé & Carlo Rola, Pheline Roggan, Klaas Heufer Umlauf, Markus Kavka and Linda Zervakis. One of the three Carpe Diem flavours was served as  appropriate, to accompany each course and demonstrate that pleasure does not always require alcohol. The guests were able to watch the exceptional chef prepare all the courses as she once again proved that she is not only an excellent chef but also a charming entertainer.
