GQ Men of the Year 2012
Background
The men's style magazine GQ Gentlemen's Quarterly, published by Condé Nast, has for the 14th time presented the "GQ Men of the Year" award to outstanding national and international show-business and music personalities, as well as other celebrities from the worlds of society, business, sports, culture and fashion. The evening's celebrity award winners and personalities presenting the awards included A-list names such as Sir Ben Kingsley, John Cusack, Shaun White, Bar Rafaeli, Mick Hucknall, Eva Padberg, Andrea Sawatzki and Christian Berkel along with many others.
Over recent years, the event has not only developed into one of the largest and most glamorous award ceremonies in Germany, it has also been steadily gaining in international importance. As in 2011, this year's award ceremony took place at the Komische Oper in Berlin.
