‚Made auf Veddel‘ by Sibilla Pavenstedt
Background
On November 2nd, 2012, a modern fairytale by Sibilla Pavenstedt was staged on Hamburg's Veddel Island within the framework of the 'Made auf Veddel' funding initiative (www.madeaufveddel.de) – a special kind of fashion show.
More than 400 invited guests from the worlds of business, society and culture, including the patron and Hamburg's Lord Mayor, Olaf Scholz, along with Charlotte Schwab, Lisa Martinek, Dagmar Berghoff, Eckart von Hirschhausen, Wigald Boning, Kurt Maloo and Dennenesch Zoudé, witnessed an impressive fashion show on the evening of the event. Besides premiering the entire Made auf Veddel fashion collection, the fashion show was also organised to create a successful and enduring presentation of the Made auf Veddel integration project for a very special district of the city. A show that combined couture and culture in an elegant and exciting way!
